Calgary Mother Teresa Community has been active since a month ago in the field of Emergency relief works for the people of Calgary, who are impacted by the Corona-virus Crisis. Mother Teresa is an icon of Peace and Charity who manifested mercy and love through her actions and words to all. Inspired by Mother Teresa's example, a community known by her name, we are joining hand in hand with the Federal and Provincial Governments and other non-profit and charity organizations of Canada, in providing support to the needy at this unprecedented time of crisis. We dedicate our humble efforts among the plenty of other heartwarming acts of kindness and generosity displayed in the wake of this global pandemic.
To coordinate the COVID-19 Emergency relief works, a special disaster management committee has been formed under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Sajo Jacob. In addition to it, twenty-four hours of special helpline has been established to aid the spiritual, mental and material support. The Mother Teresa Community will be providing urgent needs and special assistance to all in need especially the new immigrants and international students, who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 Crisis.
We request those in need of help to contact us regardless of caste or creed at the 24 hours special helpline number 587 917 2461.
